Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Demko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marty Demko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marty Demko! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Demko misses its intended target. Demko takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses. Demko misses with a few strikes there.
Williams just misses with a punch to the body.
Demko misses the jab. Williams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Demko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Demko lands with a right hand. Demko slips under a jab from Williams. Williams shoots in but Demko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there. Williams is keen to just control but Demko is a slippery customer. Williams seems to be looking for submissions.
Demko tries to get to full guard but Williams has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to advance position but Demko won't allow it. Demko wants to get back to full guard. Williams is trying to control. Demko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Williams with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeff Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground. Williams misses with a low kick as Demko jumps back. Demko misses with a wild body shot. Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Demko checks it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demko throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it. Demko tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Williams throws a leg kick but Demko sees it coming and checks it nicely. Demko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Demko misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Demko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Marty Demko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Williams throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Demko tries to improve his position but Williams has taken his back! Williams has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Demko tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Williams pushes Demko away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
