The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Peligrini scores with a four punch combination!
Nice uppercut there from Steak.
Steak's jab looks to have found its range, popping Peligrini under the eye.
Steak works the jab nicely.
Peligrini misses with a straight left.
Peligrini misses with a few strikes there.
Steak throws a leg kick which misses Peligrini's front leg but catches the back leg as Peligrini tries to avoid it.
Steak connects with a leg kick. Peligrini looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Steak keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Steak connects with a right hand. Peligrini shakes it off.

Peligrini gets tackled into the cage by Steak. Steak maintains the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Steak as the two fighters clinch.
Peligrini is trying to break the clinch but Steak is controlling him.
Peligrini fails to pull guard.
Steak has Peligrini pushed against the cage.
Steak lands a body punch in the clinch.

Peligrini throws a leg kick that misses.

Peligrini takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Steak moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Peligrini is breathing heavily.
Peligrini lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Omaha Steak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peligrini will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Steak throws a nice outside leg kick.
Steak feints and then cracks Peligrini's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peligrini down.
Steak scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Steak jabs Peligrini right on the nose. Peligrini blinks but takes it well.
Steak is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Peligrini had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Steak cracks Peligrini with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Peligrini walks into a straight right hand from Steak.
A left and a right from Steak both land. Nice combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peligrini takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Steak's corner calls for a 1-2. Steak obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Steak cracks a nice hook into Peligrini's ribs.
Peligrini takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Steak cracks Peligrini with a right hand to the side of the head.
Peligrini has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Steak.
Steak looks for a takedown but Peligrini sprawls well.

Steak gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Steak manages to break the clinch.
Steak lands with a hook. Peligrini tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Peligrini misses with a wild combination.
Steak connects with a crisp jab.

Peligrini is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Steak moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
