The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonny throws a combination that misses
and Flair counters with a head kick. That will keep Sonny thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Flair throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Jim Sonny has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sonny changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flair tries to avoid it but Sonny manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flair to the ground. Flair escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sonny misses with an uppercut

and Flair counters with a head kick that drops Sonny to the mat! Sonny scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Sonny swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Flair counters with a body kick.
Sonny looks gassed!
Flair moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Flair moves into the clinch successfully.
Flair lands with a short shot to the head.
Flair lands a shoulder strike.
Flair digs a right hand underneath Sonny's ribcage. Sonny let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Flair makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Flair lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Flair breaks the clinch.

Flair lands a big head kick that sends Sonny tumbling to the mat! Flair takes a step backwards and waves Sonny back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sonny is rocked!

That has opened up Jim Sonny's cut even more.
Flair closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Sonny out cold! Sonny corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
