Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bertrand Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fontana is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mouth for war. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontana tries to clinch but Morris is having none of it.

Fontana looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Morris is staying active underneath Fontana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Morris is looking to control Fontana's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morris avoid being mounted?
Morris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Morris trying to hold on to Fontana's head to control him but Fontana postures up.

Fontana decides to stand up.
Morris looks for a takedown but Fontana sprawls well.
Fontana changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morris tries to avoid it but Fontana manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morris to the ground. Morris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Morris shoots in for a takedown but Fontana shows good takedown defense.

and Fontana counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Morris is lucky that one didn't land flush.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bertrand Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fontana shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fontana showed some decent athleticism there.
Fontana winds up and cracks Morris with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Fontana stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

and Fontana counters with a shoot takedown. Morris fights it but they end up in guard.

Fontana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fontana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Morris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Morris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fontana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fontana.
Morris misses with a takedown attempt - Fontana sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fontana holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Morris is looking to control Fontana's arms but Fontana gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morris has his back to the cage.
Fontana is pressed up against the cage. Morris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fontana down to the mat. Fontana avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fontana looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Morris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fontana's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Morris holds on and takes a little breather.

Fontana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fontana wants to control from the top but Morris keeps moving.
Morris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fontana on the ground.

Fontana decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Fontana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fontana has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fontana connects with a couple of short punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fontana is pushing down on Morris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morris is fighting to maintain full guard but Fontana has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fontana seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morris does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fontana has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Morris to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fontana is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Morris pulls down on the head and he's put Fontana to sleep! This one is all over!
