The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Juan Campos has been cut.

Mikic looks to throw the jab but Campos is out of range.

Campos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Campos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Campos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mikic rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Campos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Campos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mikic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mikic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Campos throws the left hand but Mikic avoids the punch easily.
Mikic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Campos throws a looping overhand right but Mikic ducks down to avoid it.
Campos swings for the body but Mikic moves out of range.

and Mikic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Campos throws a lazy uppercut
and Mikic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The cut above Juan Campos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Campos throws a poor cross that misses
and Mikic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Campos is still on wobbly legs! Can Mikic finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Campos seems to have recovered his senses.
Mikic is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Campos counters with a two punch combo.
Mikic lands with a nice body punch.

and Mikic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Campos! Mikic lets Campos back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Mikic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Campos.

and Mikic counters with a nice right hand that sends Campos toppling to the canvas! Campos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mikic finish him?!

Juan Campos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Juan Campos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
