Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Stanfield.
Sherman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stanfield counters with a low kick, right behind Sherman 's knee.
Stanfield tries to score with a low kick but Sherman moves his leg out of the way.
Sherman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Stanfield counters with a head kick. That will keep Sherman thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Stanfield lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sherman throws a right hand that misses
and Stanfield makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Stanfield throws a head kick but Sherman moves out of range.
Sherman has his takedown stuffed
and Stanfield counters with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherman misses with a takedown
and Stanfield counters with a nice body kick.
Sherman is breathing heavily.
Stanfield throws a head kick that misses.
Frank Sherman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stanfield connects with a crisp jab.
Stanfield tries a head kick but it misses.
Sherman needs to keep his hands up - Stanfield had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Frank Sherman has been cut.
Sherman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stanfield seems to be stalking Sherman here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Sherman drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
