Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derric Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sabu kamahori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabu kamahori has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Derric Rose's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Derric Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sabu kamahori !
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose shoots for a takedown but kamahori saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rose fails to land the takedown.
That kick from kamahori tenderised Rose's leg. Rose is trying to keep his angry face on.
kamahori fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rose checks it well.
A momentary lapse in concentration from kamahori enables Rose to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. kamahori manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
kamahori has his foot on Rose's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rose works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sabu kamahori showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Rose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

kamahori is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rose has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rose!

kamahori drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rose looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rose looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rose!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derric Rose.
Well kamahori has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
