Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roscoe P Coltrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gump comes to the cage accompanied by Louie Armstrong - What a Wonderful World. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P Coltrane checks a low kick from Gump.
P Coltrane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gump paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gump cracks the inside of P Coltrane's front leg.
P Coltrane tries to close the distance and clinch but Gump swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
P Coltrane connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gump slaps away a takedown attempt from P Coltrane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
P Coltrane throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Forrest Gump has been cut.
P Coltrane jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Gump throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Gump counters with an inside leg kick.

and Gump makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

P Coltrane loads up on a big right hand but Gump slips the punch.
P Coltrane is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Gump counters with a body kick.

and Gump counters with a solid body kick.
Gump thuds his shin into the meat of P Coltrane's side.
Forrest Gump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gump throws a quick head kick that skims the top of P Coltrane's head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gump leaves P Coltrane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gump dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on P Coltrane. That did some damage!

P Coltrane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gump sprawls well. Gump wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. P Coltrane gets slowly back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
P Coltrane swings and misses with a hook to the body.

P Coltrane tries to bum rush Gump with a series of wild strikes but Gump uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gump tries to sprawl but P Coltrane drives through with a takedown into half guard.
P Coltrane throws a strike but Gump avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Gump might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
P Coltrane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
P Coltrane wants to control from the top but Gump keeps moving.

Gump preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
P Coltrane prevents Gump from getting back to his feet.
P Coltrane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
P Coltrane is in close to Gump's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

P Coltrane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and P Coltrane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as P Coltrane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

P Coltrane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

P Coltrane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gump.

Gump throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
P Coltrane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gump manages to avoid it.

Gump shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
P Coltrane misses with a looping right.
Gump keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
P Coltrane scores with a jab to the body.
Gump throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gump takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Roscoe P Coltrane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think P Coltrane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
