PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fidalgo Brokador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fidalgo Brokador has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fidalgo Brokador seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brokador.
Brokador throws out a leg kick but Banks moves out of range and Brokador only half commits.
Brokador lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Brokador's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brokador duly obliges.
Brokador lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brokador tries to score with a low kick but Banks moves his leg out of the way.

Banks shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brokador is trying to stand up here but Banks is controlling him well.

Banks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brokador's waist but Brokador gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Banks off to one side.

Banks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brokador is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Banks has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Brokador really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Will Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brokador lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Banks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Banks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
