Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis deFunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cj High (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luis deFunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cj High!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
deFunes gets caught flat footed, as High shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
High thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
High drops back looking for a leg! deFunes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and deFunes manages to kick High off! High jumps back into deFunes's guard.
High drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but deFunes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now High has deFunes in his guard.
High throws his legs up looking for a submission but deFunes uses it to pass to side control.
deFunes wants to control but High is keeping him busy.
High is looking for a sweep.
deFunes trying to control the position but High is working away.
High tries to bench press deFunes off him but deFunes keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
High is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
High regains half guard.
deFunes is trying to control the action in half guard but High is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
High actively working from the bottom here.
High looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
High is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but deFunes pulls his head out easily.
deFunes wants to take a breather but High is having none of it.
deFunes wants to free his trapped foot but High is holding on for dear life with his legs.
deFunes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but High does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
deFunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for High on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
High looking for submissions off his back.
High looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
deFunes works his foot free and advances to mount.
High is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
High is squirming around, avoiding deFunes's attempts to control the action.
deFunes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because High is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
High working to try and regain half guard.
deFunes wants to control the pace but High is squirming around nicely.
High slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
High actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
High looks gassed!
High looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

High tries to roll over but deFunes keeps him under control.
deFunes moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from High.
High tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Luis deFunes will probably get the nod.
That's time! deFunes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A thudding body kick lands there by deFunes!
deFunes lands a big head kick that sends High tumbling to the mat! deFunes takes a step backwards and waves High back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
High wants to stay close but deFunes steps back to make room for something. High seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from deFunes and High drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Luis deFunes!
