Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Nigal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colbey Lynch! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nigal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lynch checks a low kick from Nigal. That kick from Lynch tenderised Nigal's leg. Nigal is trying to keep his angry face on. Lynch feints and as Nigal raises his hands in defense, Lynch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lynch passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lynch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lynch is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nigal has escaped the position, nice work there. Lynch slows the pace down. Lynch scoring with punches from side control. Nigal is trying to get back to half guard. Lynch looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nigal is trying to work for a sweep but Lynch has mounted him! Nigal tries to reverse the position but Lynch maintains control. Lynch wants to finish this one by submission but Nigal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lynch. Lynch controlling his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lynch looking for a guillotine from mount but Nigal is having none of it. Nigal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Nigal is in a horrible position here. Lynch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lynch looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lynch is looking for a kimura here.

Nigal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lynch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lynch throws a sloppy head kick and Nigal moves out of range easily. Nigal throws a left and a right that both miss

And that's the end of the fight! Colbey Lynch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lynch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
