Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Kotipelto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotipelto comes to the cage accompanied by Peter Cetera & Amy Grant- Next Time I Fall . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva thows a left - swing and a miss!
Silva rushes Kotipelto and presses him up against the cage.

Kotipelto has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Kotipelto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kotipelto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kotipelto.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Silva is trying to stand up here but Kotipelto is controlling him well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva wants to control but Kotipelto is keeping busy.

Kotipelto drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Kotipelto off! Kotipelto jumps back into Silva's guard.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kotipelto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Kotipelto's legs - danger averted.

Tiago Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
