Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana Whitte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Sergio Lesnar Theme song !. Whitte is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Flaw - Get up again. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dana Whitte! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitte stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Whitte wants it to stay on the feet. Whitte throws a hook to the side of Lesnar's head but Lesnar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sergio Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesnar throws a predictable looking body shot
and Whitte cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lesnar thows a left - swing and a miss! Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Lesnar throws a hook to the side of Whitte's head but Whitte sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lesnar shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lesnar tries to clinch up but Whitte circles away and keeps his distance. Whitte ducks under a wild hook from Lesnar. Nice body punch from Lesnar. Whitte tries to move into range but Lesnar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Lesnar looks to clinch and Whitte counters with a straight right hand.

and Whitte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lesnar misses with a shot to the body and Lesnar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lesnar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Whitte. Lesnar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Whitte is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lesnar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Whitte manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lesnar has Whitte in his guard. Lesnar has Whitte pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lesnar looking for a sweep. Not yet Lesnar, not yet. Lesnar is pulling down on Whitte's head. It's preventing any offense from Whitte, at least for the moment. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Sergio Lesnar wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Lesnar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar wants to clinch. Lesnar tries to clinch up. Whitte keeps the fight on the outside. Lesnar doesn't manage to clinch there - Whitte circles away.
Lesnar tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Whitte counter with a right hand. Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Whitte paws at him with a jab and circles away. Whitte throws a big shot that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lesnar defending well as Whitte loads up on a big left hand. Whitte might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lesnar misses with a right hand and Whitte holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Whitte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Whitte makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Whitte loads up on a big right hand but Lesnar slips the punch. Whitte pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lesnar defending well as Whitte loads up on a big left hand. Whitte tries to keep at a distance but Lesnar has taken the fight into the clinch. Lesnar tries for a takedown but Whitte manages to get underhooks.
Lesnar is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Whitte has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Lesnar misses with a knee to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitte prevents a takedown attempt there.

Lesnar shoots in for a double leg but Whitte sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dana Whitte is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Whitte jabs Lesnar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lesnar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Whitte. A swing and a miss from Lesnar. Whitte stuffs the takedown. and Whitte counters with a lovely shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lesnar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Whitte's guard. Lesnar throwing strikes but missing. Whitte looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar trying to control but Whitte is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Whitte can do anything to dispel that myth. Lesnar is looking to work some ground and pound but Whitte has wrist control. Whitte bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesnar's guard. Lesnar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lesnar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lesnar looking for a sweep. Not yet Lesnar, not yet. Whitte stands and steps away. Lesnar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Whitte lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesnar circles away quickly and effectively. Dana Whitte seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Whitte has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Whitte there as he acknowledges the shot. Lesnar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lesnar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Whitte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dana Whitte showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Whitte connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lesnar. Lesnar circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesnar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lesnar is rocked! Whitte fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Oh Lesnar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Whitte lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Lesnar head around and knocks him out cold! Whitte hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
