Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman misses with a takedown attempt - Fernandez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fernandez as he avoids it easily.

Coleman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Coleman throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
Coleman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fernandez on the ground.

Fernandez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coleman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coleman is on top in guard.

Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Coleman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fernandez manages to get back to half guard.
Fernandez is looking to control Coleman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fernandez avoid being mounted?
Fernandez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Fernandez pushes a forearm under Coleman's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Coleman is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
