The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Kuri misses with a jab to the body
and Jackson counters with a nice body kick.
Te Kuri misses with an uppercut
and Jackson counters with a body kick that stops Te Kuri in his tracks momentarily.
Te Kuri tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Te Kuri looks gassed!
Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson tries to clinch up but Te Kuri circles away and keeps his distance.
Zeca Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jackson .
Te Kuri takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Jackson misses with an uppercut. Te Kuri saw that one coming.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Te Kuri swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson .
Te Kuri blocks a head kick by Jackson .
Te Kuri throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jackson counters with a nice leg kick.
Zeca Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jackson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Te Kuri tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Te Kuri back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Te Kuri is rocked!

It looks like Loui Te Kuri has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jackson thumps Te Kuri with a low kick.
Jackson connects with a leg kick. Te Kuri looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jackson lands with a slapping head kick.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jackson ! Te Kuri is out on his feet! Jackson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Te Kuri is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Te Kuri is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
