Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fuk Yuuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nomi Mae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nomi Mae will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuuu throws a low kick, looking for Mae's leg but Mae calmly moves out of range.
Yuuu misses with a combination
enabling Mae to counter with a crisp jab.
Mae blocks a low kick nicely.
Yuuu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yuuu throws a body kick the misses
and Mae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mae has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yuuu finds it's way round the side to connect with Mae's head.

Mae thuds a left hand into Yuuu's body.
Yuuu throws a right and a left that both miss.

Yuuu misses with a head kick.
Mae avoids the head kick by Yuuu.
Yuuu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mae.
Yuuu throws a leg kick that misses.
Yuuu throws a low kick but Mae moves out of range easily.
Yuuu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Yuuu throws a head kick that misses.
Yuuu misses with a double jab
and Mae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mae lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yuuu backs up against the cage.
It looks like Fuk Yuuu has been cut.
Mae rushes Yuuu and presses him up against the cage.

Yuuu missing with knees to the body.
Mae has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Yuuu regains guard immediately.
Mae is looking to work some ground and pound but Yuuu has wrist control.
Mae wants to control from the top but Yuuu keeps moving.

Yuuu is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yuuu uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Mae is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Mae shoots in and drives through. Yuuu sprawls well.

and Mae counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mae fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yuuu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mae moves into the clinch.
Yuuu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mae is defending well for now.
Mae breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yuuu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mae misses with a two punch combination.
Mae ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mae throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yuuu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mae will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mae swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Mae counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Mae throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Mae breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mae drives through and clinches with Yuuu against the cage.
Mae tries for a takedown but Yuuu manages to get underhooks.
Mae blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mae wants the takedown. Yuuu is fighting it off but Mae persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Yuuu's guard against the cage.

Mae is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mae content to control rather than advance.

Mae thows a huge punch but Yuuu dodges it nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
