Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Scalante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxxi Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon throws a combination that misses
enabling Scalante to counter with a crisp jab.
Moon swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Scalante cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Scalante connects with a right hand. Moon shakes it off.
Moon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Scalante counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Scalante stuns Moon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Moon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Scalante counter with a right hand.
Scalante scores with a body shot.
Moon looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Scalante with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Scalante thuds his right hand into Moon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Scalante lands a slapping body shot.
Scalante listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Scalante lands with a nice body punch.
Moon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Scalante throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Scalante circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Moon to the canvas! Moon doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Scalante keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Scalante!
