Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolando Paneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen comes to the cage accompanied by M.O.P. - Ante Up. Rolando Paneda will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Owen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rolando Paneda! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paneda misses with an uppercut. Owen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Paneda shoots and misses and Owen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Paneda won't be happy with that. Paneda can't do much from the bottom here. Paneda wants to get back to his feet but Owen drags him back down. Paneda can't do much from the bottom here. Owen scores with a couple of short elbows. Paneda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Paneda is trying to buck Owen off. Paneda tries to bench press Owen off him but Owen keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Owen decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paneda throws a lazy head kick and Owen moves into the clinch. Paneda tries to break free but Owen pushes him back against the cage. Owen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Owen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Paneda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Owen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Owen in particular looking to stall. Owen stands up out of the half guard. Owen forces Paneda back against the cage and clinches. Owen pulls guard. Paneda trying to control but Owen is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Owen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Paneda looking to sit in guard and control but Owen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Owen controls from within his opponent's guard. Paneda is working an open guard so Owen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owen instigates a clinch. Paneda wants to stall.
Paneda tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Owen just stands there and leans against the cage. Owen jumps into guard, dragging Paneda to the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Paneda looking to sit in guard and control but Owen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Owen stands up from guard. Let's bang! Paneda fails with the takedown and Owen counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Patrick Owen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolando Paneda. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Owen trying to control the pace. Owen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Owen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Owen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Owen is taking a breather. Paneda says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Paneda taking some punishment here, with Owen in his half guard. Owen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Paneda tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Owen!
