Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rome Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Pogi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Pogi.
Pogi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pogi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Terrell wants to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Pogi has his foot on Terrell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Terrell works his way back into a safe position though.

Joe Pogi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pogi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
