The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Diaz.
It looks like Cyril Salace has been cut.
Diaz lands a jab to the nose.
Salace with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diaz to score with a decent uppercut.
Salace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Salace moves away from the strike by Diaz.
A cross from Diaz lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Salace doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Salace shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily.
Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Salace in his tracks.

Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Salace down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Salace back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Diaz cracks Salace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Salace is rocked!
Cyril Salace's cut is getting worse.
Diaz drops Salace with a straight right hand, right on the button! Diaz follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Romy Diaz!
