Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hakeem Jabbar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bad Azz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Jabbar as Azz shoots in.
Azz throws a lazy body kick
and Jabbar counters with a good, hard body kick but Azz shrugs it off.
Sloppy strikes from Azz. Those never looked like landing.
Jabbar checks the leg kick.
Jabbar has managed to clinch.
Jabbar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Azz misses with a low kick.
Jabbar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Azz avoids it really well and circles away.
Azz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Azz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Azz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jabbar blocks a head kick by Azz.
Azz moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick from Azz misses.
Azz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Azz throws a leg kick
and Jabbar counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jabbar ducks right into an uppercut from Azz.
Azz clobbers Jabbar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jabbar is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Azz throws a wild body kick that Jabbar sees coming a mile off.
Oh Jabbar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Azz shoots in and drives through. Jabbar sprawls well.
Jabbar seems to have got his legs back now.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Azz! Jabbar is backing up but he can't get away as Azz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Jabbar and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bad Azz!
