Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cole Bentley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boulder Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bentley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Crusher is trying to defend but Bentley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Crusher works his way to full guard. Good work. Bentley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Crusher's guard. Crusher trying to control the position here. Bentley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Crusher, up you get! Bentley lands a nice shot to the body.
Bentley clinches. Crusher works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Bentley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crusher dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bentley is trying to control Crusher's posture but Crusher avoids it. Bentley takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Crusher swings around for an armbar but Bentley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Crusher's guard. Crusher looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Bentley tries to free his leg and advance position but Crusher is retaining full guard. Crusher pulls Bentley in close to prevent any damage. Bentley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bentley wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bentley is really struggling to control Crusher but he's trying to hold on to the position. Crusher is adopting a defensive guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Cole Bentley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bentley misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Crusher counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Crusher lands strikes from half guard. Crusher lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Crusher winds up and cracks Bentley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher escapes and gets back to his feet. Bentley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Crusher counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bentley! Bentley is breathing heavily. Bentley tries to hold on but Crusher pushes him away. Crusher scoring with strikes but Bentley is staying in there. Bentley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Crusher lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Crusher might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Bentley wants to control but Crusher is having none of it. Bentley has given up his back here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crusher scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bentley defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Crusher's arms. Crusher just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Boulder Crusher dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Crusher wants to clinch. Crusher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crusher goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bentley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Crusher's guard! Nice work there by Bentley! Bentley preventing the sweep. Crusher trying to keep a closed guard but Bentley is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crusher is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bentley is trying to control the position but Crusher postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crusher trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bentley's guard. Crusher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Crusher postures up.

Bentley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Crusher is breathing heavily. Bentley wants to control but Crusher postures up.

Crusher slows the pace down. Bentley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bentley tries to get out of the position. Bentley can't do much from the bottom here. Crusher lands a nice forearm strike. Crusher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bentley being controlled for a moment. Crusher trying to control the action but Bentley is working from the bottom. Bentley is looking to reverse the position. Crusher stands up and beckons Bentley to his feet. Crusher keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Crusher tries to clinch there but Bentley circles away.
Crusher fails with the takedown and Bentley counters with a nice double leg into guard. Crusher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bentley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bentley stands up from Crusher's guard - Bentley perhaps looking for a knockout. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bentley. Crusher shrugs it off though. Crusher fails with the takedown and Bentley counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Cole Bentley will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bentley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bentley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crusher on the ground. Crusher throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bentley uses it to pass to side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bentley goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Crusher has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bentley but great work by Crusher.

Crusher creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Crusher lands a few punches from side control. Crusher taking a breather here. Crusher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crusher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher decides to stand back up. Crusher steps back and let's Bentley get back to his feet. Crusher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bentley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crusher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bentley somewhat. Crusher throws a series of punches but Bentley avoids them all with ease. Crusher misses with a takedown and Bentley counters by clinching up. Bentley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Crusher up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bentley tries to circle away but Crusher has him pinned against the cage. Bentley is trying to maintain a safe position but Crusher gets an underhook and turns Bentley into the cage. Crusher tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bentley smiles and moves away.
Crusher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bentley defends it nicely. Cole Bentley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boulder Crusher. Bentley dives in and scores a takedown into Crusher's guard. Crusher looking to control.

And that's the end of the fight! Cole Bentley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bentley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
