Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pouncy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McGee's choice of entrance music: Anna Lucia. Pouncy McGee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McGee gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Rodrigues tries to stand but can't do so whilst McGee controls his leg.
McGee is trying to control but can't.
Rodrigues wants to stand up but McGee has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Rodrigues trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The fighters are battling for position here. McGee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McGee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rodrigues wants to get back to his feet but McGee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McGee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rodrigues is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McGee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rodrigues can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rodrigues closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McGee's guard.
Rodrigues wanted to stand there but McGee had control of the position.
Rodrigues has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Rodrigues got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rodrigues has managed to get both his arms back between McGee's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Rodrigues will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Rodrigues counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
