Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosti Johannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Raised Fist - Killing It. Felix Torres had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johannes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Torres fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johannes, pushing him back against the cage.
Torres misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Johannes.
Torres breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johannes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Johannes moves into range and clinches up with Torres.

Johannes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johannes.
It looks like Felix Torres has been cut.
Johannes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johannes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Torres counters with a single leg into guard. Johannes didn't expect that.

Johannes wants to sweep but no luck.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Torres tries to clinch up but Johannes circles away and keeps his distance.

Johannes tests Torres's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johannes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Torres wants to get back to full guard.
Johannes tries to pass the half guard into mount. Torres knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torres tries to kick Johannes off but Johannes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Torres is breathing heavily.

Torres moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Johannes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Torres throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Johannes misses with a few strikes there.
Torres shoots in for a double leg but Johannes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Torres fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johannes sprawls well initially but Torres persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Torres trying to control the action but Johannes is working from the bottom.
Johannes is holding on to half guard well.
Torres works his way into side control.
Torres stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Torres closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johannes to the mat! Johannes manages to get full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johannes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Torres slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Torres decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johannes, up you get!
Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Torres has a takedown stuffed.

Johannes works over Torres's head and body with a nice combination.
Johannes connects with a crisp jab.

Torres controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johannes has control of Torres's left arm, preventing Torres from doing any damage.
Let's hope that Johannes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Torres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johannes as he avoids it easily.
Johannes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Johannes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Torres throws a body kick that misses.
Johannes gets caught flat footed, as Torres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Johannes wants to stand and escape but Torres is having none of it.

Johannes wants to stand up but Torres is controlling him.

Johannes throws a right and a left that Torres avoids nicely.

Torres slips a jab and a cross from Johannes.
Johannes stuffs the takedown attempt from Torres. Torres gets slowly back to his feet.
Torres doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Torres misses with a wild body shot.

Torres throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice takedown defense from Johannes. No joy for Torres on that attempt.

Torres is pushing down on Johannes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johannes is fighting to maintain full guard but Torres has managed to sneak the leg through.
Torres seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Johannes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Torres is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Torres wants to pass the guard but Johannes is defending well.
Johannes has one foot on Torres's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Johannes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres.
Johannes plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Torres bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Torres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johannes tries to avoid it but Torres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johannes to the ground. Johannes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johannes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kosti Johannes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Torres lands in his opponent's guard.

Torres is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Felix Torres will probably get the nod.

Johannes connects with a stiff jab that staggers Torres - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
