Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Santoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Ante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ante is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil' Wayne ft. Eminem - Drop the World. Dirk Ante has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ante uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Santoro.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ante shoots for a takedown but Santoro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ante has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ante there as he acknowledges the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Santoro lands a left and a right that send Ante crashing to the mat, dazed. Santoro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The cut above Dirk Ante's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
