Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sonic counters with a single leg into guard. Sato didn't expect that.
Sato wants to stand and escape but Sonic is having none of it.
Sato is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sato drops an elbow to the side of Sonic's head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Sonic is in trouble now - Sato has advanced to mount!
Sonic working to try and regain half guard.
Sonic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sato. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sonic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Sato is pulling down on Sonic's head. It's preventing any offense from Sonic, at least for the moment.
Sato's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sato wants to sweep here but Sonic controlling him for the moment.
Sato lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sonic!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sato fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sato landing strikes from the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sonic is desperately trying to improve his position but Sato has a good base and remains in mount.
Sato is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sonic is rocked!

Sato postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Sonic is out cold - huge knockout for Sato!
