Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Botwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Valdez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Botwin! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valdez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Botwin. That one must have hurt. Botwin swings widly with a right hand
and Valdez counters with an outside leg kick.
Botwin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Botwin. Botwin moves into full mount! Valdez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Botwin on the ground. Botwin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Botwin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Botwin lands with some strikes. Botwin looking to control and managing it successfully. Botwin is landing with some decent strikes but Valdez is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's one minute gone in the round. Botwin has control of Valdez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Valdez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Botwin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Valdez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Botwin looking to finish Valdez with some ground and pound. This is bad for Valdez! Botwin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Botwin content just to control the position here. Botwin landing strikes from the mount. Botwin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Botwin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Botwin raining down hammerfists from mount. Valdez has given up his back. Will we see Botwin going for some submissions?
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Botwin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Valdez! Can he survive? No! He's out! Botwin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
