Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Heister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donnie Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Heister! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heister shoots and misses and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Heister throws a head punch that misses. Jackson pulls guard effortlessly. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Heister wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Heister gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet. Jackson pulls Heister in to control the position. Jackson has his foot on Heister's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heister works his way back into a safe position though. Heister got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heister has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Heister accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heister gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Heister scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jackson works over Heister's head and body with a nice combination. Heister with a poor takedown and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson. Nice body punch from Jackson. Heister wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Heister is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Heister working hard to break the clinch. Heister's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jackson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Heister backwards. Jackson decides to pull guard. Jackson has his hands on Heister's head, controlling the position. Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jackson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson works his way into side control. Heister is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson tries for a kimura but Heister is defending well. Jackson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Heister is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jackson yanks on the arm and Heister is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jackson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Donnie Jackson!
