Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Suga Free - Fuck Wit You. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard checks the leg kick nicely there.
Van Dam throws a head kick that misses.
Jean Claude Van Dam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Dam takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A head kick misses from Van Dam.
Van Dam pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Dam throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lombard on the side of the head.
Lombard avoids the head kick by Van Dam.
Van Dam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lombard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Van Dam throws a sloppy head kick
and Lombard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lombard throws a shot from downtown. Van Dam moves away and avoids it.
Lombard circles away from the clinch attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lombard blocks a head kick by Van Dam.
Van Dam misses with a combination
and Lombard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Dam falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lombard counters with a crisp one two that drops Van Dam! Lombard thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Van Dam to his feet! Van Dam is in big trouble!
Van Dam is rocked!
Van Dam looks gassed!
Lombard throws a half hearted mid kick.
Van Dam wants to clinch
and Lombard counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Van Dam misses with a lunging right hand
and Lombard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lombard cracks a nice hook into Van Dam's ribs.
Good standup being displayed there by Lombard as he connects with a hook.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Van Dam checks a leg kick.
Van Dam takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Van Dam gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Lombard gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Lombard!
