Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Foxall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Roosmalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Foxall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Roosmalen! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foxall feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roosmalens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Roosmalen misses with a double jab.
Stefan Roosmalen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roosmalen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Roosmalen gets a takedown into half guard. Foxall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Roosmalen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Foxall wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roosmalen trying to control the pace. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Stefan Roosmalen. Foxall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Foxall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Foxall trying to control from half guard but Roosmalen is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roosmalen wants to control but Foxall is keeping busy.
Roosmalen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roosmalen. Roosmalen wants to sweep here but Foxall controlling him for the moment. Roosmalen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Roosmalen keeping full guard, as Foxall tries to pass. Roosmalen keeping moving, preventing Foxall from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foxall controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Foxall thows a big elbow that misses. Roosmalen managing to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tom Foxall just wasn't active enough. Roosmalen throws a combination that misses and Foxall counters with a nice double leg into guard. Foxall throws and elbow that misses. Roosmalen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Foxall's guard. Nice move by Roosmalen! Roosmalen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roosmalen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roosmalen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Foxall prevents Roosmalen from moving into mount. Roosmalen working away. Roosmalen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Foxall dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Some wild striking there from Roosmalen.
Roosmalen dips to his left and cracks Foxall with an uppercut! Foxall moves away from the strike by Roosmalen. Roosmalen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Roosmalen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Roosmalen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foxall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Foxall is trying to control the position but Roosmalen postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foxall wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Roosmalen is now in half guard. Foxall looking for subs from the bottom but Roosmalen mounts him! Foxall is trying to escape the mount.
Roosmalen controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Let's hope that Roosmalen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stefan Roosmalen wasn't active enough on the ground. Foxall shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Roosmalen counters with a nice leg kick. Foxall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roosmalen counters with a leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Roosmalen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Foxall counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foxall is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Roosmalen reverses the position - he's now on top in Foxall's guard. Roosmalen controlling from the top position. Roosmalen wants to control from the top but Foxall keeps moving. Roosmalen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Roosmalen stopping the sweep attempt from Foxall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Roosmalen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Roosmalen scores with a nice head shot. Foxall misses with a takedown attempt and Roosmalen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Roosmalen. Roosmalen looking to sit in guard and control but Foxall gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Foxall wants to stand but Roosmalen has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roosmalen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Foxall! Foxall wants to hold on but Roosmalen pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roosmalen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. BOOM! Roosmalen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Roosmalen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Foxall is squirming around, avoiding Roosmalen's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roosmalen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Foxall is squirming around, avoiding Roosmalen's attempts to control the action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Stefan Roosmalen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Foxall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Foxall fails with the takedown and Roosmalen counters with a solid body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foxall with a poor takedown and Roosmalen counters with a nice body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Foxall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roosmalen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Foxall. That did some damage! Roosmalen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Foxall's calf. Roosmalen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Foxall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Roosmalen shoots in and gets a takedown into Foxall's guard. Roosmalen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Stefan Roosmalen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Roosmalen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
