PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Tamutmot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Tamutmot counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Griffin has an active guard here but Tamutmot has managed to pass into half guard.
Tamutmot landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Tamutmot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Griffin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Griffin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Griffin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arnold Tamutmot.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tamutmot, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
