Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Schroeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Schroeder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Hansen! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen shoots in but Schroeder avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schroeder dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hansen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Dan Hansen has been cut. Hansen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schroeder as he jumps to the side. Hansen looks for a takedown but Schroeder sprawls well. Brian Schroeder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Hansen. Hansen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schroeder swivels and escapes. Schroeder lunges at Hansen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hansen's hand. Hansen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Schroeder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hansen. Schroeder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hansen throws and elbow that misses. Schroeder uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hansen's guard. Nice move by Schroeder! Schroeder wants to stand but Hansen is controlling his posture from full guard. Hansen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hansen can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schroeder wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving. Hansen pushes Schroeder off and scrambles back to his feet.
Hansen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Schroeder throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hansen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A punch combination from Schroeder misses. Schroeder lands a right hook to the body.
Hansen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schroeder defends it nicely. Hansen looks gassed! Hansen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Schroeder circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schroeder lands with a right hand. Horrible takedown by Hansen or perhaps it was just good defense by Schroeder which made him look bad. Schroeder lands a head shot. Hansen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schroeder's waist but Schroeder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hansen off to one side. The crowd cheers as Schroeder lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hansen doesn't seem phased though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schroeder's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Schroeder duly obliges. Schroeder moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Schroeder lands a slapping body shot.
Schroeder is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Hansen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Schroeder. Schroeder stalks Hansen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hansen's face. Hansen staggers backwards, shaken. A left and a right from Schroeder both land. Nice combination.
Hansen is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Schroeder engages and cracks Hansen with a massive lead left hook - Hansen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Schroeder is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Schroeder!
