Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Forhud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franz Forhud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Barry! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forhud fails with the takedown and Barry counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Forhud is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barry is controlling him well. Barry sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Forhud is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Barry has control of an arm but Forhud manages to advance to Barry's back! Barry breaks Forhud's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Barry slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Forhud is looking to stand up but Barry isn't so interested in that idea. Barry controlling from the top position. Barry looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forhud trying to keep a closed guard but Barry is proving a slippery customer.
Forhud could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A low kick from Forhud is predictable there and Barry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Barry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Forhud wants to stand but Barry is controlling the position. Forhud is breathing heavily. Barry sitting in guard here, content to control. Forhud keeping full guard, as Barry tries to pass. Barry lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forhud has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Forhud is looking to sweep but instead, Barry has passed into half guard.
Barry is looking to take a break and control but Forhud is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Barry stalling. Forhud trying to control but Barry postures up.
Barry drops an elbow to the side of Forhud's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forhud has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barry is working away from the top position though. Forhud is trying to stand back up but Barry is controlling him
Barry is figuring out what he wants to do next. Barry moves into full mount! Forhud won't be happy about that! Barry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Forhud is bucking up trying to escape but Barry cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Barry scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Barry putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Barry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Forhud's face.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like Franz Forhud has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This has been an exciting period of action! Barry is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Forhud can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Barry is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Forhud can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Barry looking to control and managing it successfully. Forhud is working to get back to half guard.
Barry is landing with some decent strikes but Forhud is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Forhud tries to reverse the position but Barry maintains control. Barry wants to take Forhud's back but he can't do it this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Barry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Franz Forhud's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Forhud gets caught napping as Barry dives in and scores a takedown. Forhud manages to retain guard. Pat Barry has got the better of the ground game so far. Forhud throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Barry escapes and throws Forhud's legs to the side, diving into side control! Forhud is pushing Barry's head away, looking to escape. Barry manages to hold on to the position though. Forhud is looking to get back to his feet here but Barry is keeping cool and he's managed to take Forhud's back. Barry is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Barry gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Barry gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Barry apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Barry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Barry scores with a takedown into Forhud's guard. Barry distracts Forhud with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barry content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barry makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Barry is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Barry decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Forhud, up you get! Excellent takedown into side control there by Barry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barry looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Barry stands up. A head kick misses from Barry. Forhud fails with the takedown and Barry counters with a head kick. Barry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forhud swivels and escapes. Barry closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Forhud's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forhud is looking to stand up but Barry isn't so interested in that idea. Barry gets to his feet. Forhud looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Franz Forhud is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Forhud throws a leg kick and Barry counters with a series of strikes. Forhud will be more careful next time no doubt. Barry tries to clinch up. Barry misses with a takedown attempt and Forhud counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barry won't be happy with that. Forhud wants to control but Barry is keeping him busy. Forhud tries to move into full mount but can't pass Barry's legs. Forhud fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Barry is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Forhud is keen to just control but Barry is a slippery customer. Forhud throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Forhud throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Barry wants to get back to his feet. Forhud scoring with strikes to the body and head. Forhud thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Forhud is looking to stall here but Barry recovers full guard. Forhud preventing the sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Forhud wants to pass the guard but Barry is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Barry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Franz Forhud's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Forhud doesn't succeed with the takedown and Barry counters with a nice double leg into side control. Forhud won't be happy with that. Barry stands up and beckons Forhud to his feet. Barry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Barry wants to control the pace but Forhud is squirming around nicely. Forhud squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Barry controlling from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Forhud is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barry can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Forhud is looking to escape. Forhud is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Barry controlling the position easily from mount. Barry has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barry wants to control the pace but Forhud is squirming around nicely. Forhud is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Forhud tries to buck Barry off but Barry takes his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Forhud defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Forhud just trying to survive but Barry is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. What can Forhud do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
You can see the frustration on Forhud's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Forhud is trying to stand back up. Forhud trying to control the hands but Barry breaks the grip.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Forhud staying busy and making it hard for Barry to control. Barry is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Forhud knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Forhud for a finish. Barry is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

And that's the end of the fight! Pat Barry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Barry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
