Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lusiana Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Doshu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lusiana Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Doshu!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries for a takedown but Doshu circles away easily

and Doshu counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that.
Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Doshu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Doshu controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Diego Doshu wasn't active enough on the ground.
A low kick from Silva is predictable there

and Doshu counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva tries to improve his position but instead Doshu has taken his back!

Doshu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Silva is defending well though. Doshu let's go of the attempt for now.

Doshu has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Silva's body.
Doshu is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Silva. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Silva tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Silva is desperately trying to improve his position but Doshu has a good base and remains in mount.

A big strike lands for Doshu! That's really hurt Silva and he's turned his back - Doshu keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Doshu jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
