Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Jurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Bold and Beautiful. Jurgel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock N Roll Train. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Ross counters with a body kick that stops Jurgel in his tracks momentarily.

Jurgel's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Ross takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Jurgel jumps guard but Ross stands there with Jurgel around his waist. Jurgel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ross breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ross smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Ross moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Good leg kick by Ross there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ross turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jurgel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ross jabs Jurgel to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ross is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jurgel can do to turn this around?

Rick Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gorge Jurgel.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
