Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrei James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kade Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kade Tyson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails with a takedown attempt.
Tyson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and James counters with a nice body kick.
Tyson tries to clinch but James moves away

and James counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by James.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
James tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tyson is trying to break free.

Tyson wants to clinch
and James counters with a nice uppercut.
James throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tyson moves into range and clinches up with James.
Tyson wants to break free but James has control.
Tyson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but James has him pressed against the cage.
Tyson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyson falls off balance throwing a combination

and James counters with a shoot takedown. Tyson fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James looking to sit in guard and control but Tyson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson wanted to stand there but James had control of the position.

James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tyson wants to stand but James is controlling his posture from full guard.

Tyson stands and steps away. James gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Tyson pushes James off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

James keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyson's efforts to push away.

Tyson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst James is controlling him.
James wants to stand but Tyson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Tyson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

James keeps the fight on the outside.
Tyson throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and James counters with a three punch combo that has Tyson backing up. Tyson nods at James to acknowledge the strikes.

Tyson moves into range and clinches up with James.
Tyson wants to break free but James has control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tyson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tyson is trying to break the clinch but James is controlling him.
Tyson wants to break the clinch but can't.
James tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tyson just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei James. That's going to take a lot out of him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James is stalling here. Tyson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! James seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tyson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.

Andrei James showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
