Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Skywalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Gordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blitzkrieg Bop. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Skywalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodrigo Gordo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skywalker tries to avoid it but Gordo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skywalker to the ground. Skywalker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gordo tries to clinch but Skywalker is having none of it.
Skywalker misses with a combination
and Gordo counters with a big head kick but Skywalker shrugs it off.
Skywalker moves to clinch but Gordo breaks away
and Gordo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Skywalker!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Skywalker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Skywalker can't escape the position.
Gordo controlling the pace for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gordo breaks from Skywalker's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gordo cracks Skywalker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gordo looking to secure an arm triangle but Skywalker defends it well.
Gordo landing strikes from the mount and Skywalker is in trouble!
Gordo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Skywalker is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gordo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Skywalker scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gordo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gordo stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodrigo Gordo!
