Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Graycee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milan Lucic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Graycee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Milan Lucic! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lucic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Lucic is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Graycee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Graycee preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Graycee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lucic is working away from the top position though. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Graycee tries to kick Lucic off but Lucic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Graycee fails with the takedown and Lucic counters by moving into the clinch. Graycee is trying to trip Lucic. He has hold of a leg but Lucic is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Graycee persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lucic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graycee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Graycee prevents Lucic from getting back to his feet. Lucic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lucic is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Lucic looking to control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Graycee trying to control but Lucic is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Milan Lucic wasn't active enough on the ground. Lucic throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lucic closes the distance and clinches. Graycee trying to stall but Lucic improves his position.
Lucic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Graycee.
Lucic has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Graycee regains guard immediately. Graycee is breathing heavily. Lucic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lucic trying to control but Graycee is working from the bottom. Lucic stays in close to Graycee's body and controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Milan Lucic was stalling too much, according to the referee. Graycee tries for a takedown but Lucic circles away easily and Lucic counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lucic. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Graycee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Graycee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lucic keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Graycee's head. Lucic sitting in guard here, content to control. Lucic stands and steps away. Graycee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Graycee throws a leg kick but Lucic sees it coming and moves out of range. Graycee lands with a good body shot. Graycee misses with a takedown and Lucic counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lucic tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lucic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Graycee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lucic tries to move to mount but Graycee blocks the move with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milan Lucic dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lucic forces Graycee back against the cage and clinches. Lucic is trying to trip Graycee. He has hold of a leg but Graycee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lucic persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lucic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lucic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Graycee is keeping the position for now. Lucic has gone for a leg lock! Graycee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lucic's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graycee postures up in Lucic's guard and throws a big left but Lucic blocks it. Lucic is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graycee throwing strikes but missing. Graycee tries to stand but Lucic is controlling from the bottom. Lucic controlling Graycee's posture. Lucic wants to stand up but Graycee is controlling him. Lucic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Graycee manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lucic wants to pass the guard but Graycee is keeping the position. Lucic stopping the sweep attempt from Graycee. Graycee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lucic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lucic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Graycee doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graycee can't keep his opponent in guard - Lucic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lucic in particular looking to stall. Graycee is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lucic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lucic content to control rather than advance. Graycee wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Graycee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milan Lucic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Lucic scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Graycee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lucic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lucic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Milan Lucic has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Graycee is trying to improve his position. Lucic trying to control the position but Graycee is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graycee is looking to reverse the position. Graycee is trying to control Lucic's posture but Lucic avoids it. Graycee prevents Lucic from improving position. Lucic decides to stand back up. Graycee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Graycee is trying to control the position but Lucic postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lucic distracts Graycee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lucic controls from within his opponent's guard. Graycee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lucic sitting in guard here, content to control. Lucic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lucic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Graycee being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lucic lands a couple of digs. Lucic won't allow Graycee to sweep him here. Graycee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lucic controls the pace. Graycee tries to strike from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Milan Lucic was stalling too much, according to the referee. Graycee misses with a takedown and Lucic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Graycee won't be happy with that. Lucic content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Graycee is looking for a sweep. Lucic stands up and beckons Graycee to his feet. Lucic closes the distance and pushes Graycee back into the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Milan Lucic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lucic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
