Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by 'Trapped Under Ice' by Metallica. Cohen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Season in the Abyss kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen fails with the takedown
and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cohen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cohen is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.

Cohen misses with a takedown attempt - Anderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cohen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Anderson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cohen.

Anderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Anderson counters with a good, hard body kick but Cohen shrugs it off.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Cohen might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Anderson has got the better of the exchanges.
Cohen is breathing heavily.
Anderson throws a hook but Cohen blocks it.
Anderson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cohen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Anderson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Anderson stuffs the takedown.

Cohen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab.

and Anderson counters with a left to the body.

Cohen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Anderson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cohen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Anderson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Anderson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cohen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Anderson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cohen slips an arm under Anderson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cohen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cohen is squeezing on Anderson like an anaconda would it's prey. Anderson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
