Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arata Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paris France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). France has chosen Un Monde Parfait as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arata Takeda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paris France! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by France. France tries to clinch but Takeda moves away and Takeda counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Takeda shoots for a double leg takedown but France sprawls well. He's pushed Takeda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. France slips a jab and a cross from Takeda.
France forces Takeda back against the cage and clinches. France trying to stall but Takeda improves his position.
Takeda looking for a takedown. Takeda tries to circle away but France has him pinned against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Takeda looking for a takedown. France gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Takeda has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. France lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. France decides to pull guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takeda accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. France wants to stand and escape but Takeda is having none of it. France is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. France tries to land a sweep but no joy. France really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takeda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeda trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Takeda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. France throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

France utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. France is looking to stand up but Takeda isn't so interested in that idea. France has his foot on Takeda's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Takeda works his way back into a safe position though. Takeda looking to sit in guard and control but France gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. France trying to control the position from guard on top but Takeda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. France wants to pass the guard but Takeda is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. France wants to control from the top but Takeda keeps moving. France gets to his feet - Takeda follows without any prompting. Takeda keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. France closes the distance looking to clinch and Takeda counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for France! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. France tries to lock up and control but Takeda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Takeda working the ground and pound effectively.
Takeda lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Takeda misses with a takedown attempt and France counters with a one-two to the body. The fight stays on the outside here - France looks like he's thinking about clinching though. France tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. France tries to close the distance and clinch but Takeda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. France fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takeda avoids it really well and circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takeda. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arata Takeda. That's going to take a lot out of him. France is looking to clinch but Takeda is avoiding it.

Takeda closes this distance looking for a takedown but France circles away. France tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takeda paws at him with a jab and circles away. That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with France but France pushes him off and we're back to square one. Takeda keeps the fight on the outside. Takeda swats away the attempt to clinch by France. Takeda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A left and a right from France both land. Nice combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. No luck for France with that takedown attempt. Takeda throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and France counters by moving into the clinch. Takeda is trying to break free. France prevents a takedown attempt there.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. France with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Takeda wants a takedown but no success here.

Paris France showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and France counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Takeda is looking for a sweep. France is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. France not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. France not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. France frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. France misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The referee warns Takeda that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Takeda's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Takeda manages to regain half guard. Good work. France wants to pass the guard but Takeda is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeda tries to roll over but France keeps him under control. France wants to pass the guard but Takeda is defending well. France seems to be looking for submissions.
France looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. France wants to control but Takeda is keeping him busy. France is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. France throwing shots but Takeda is blocking nicely. Takeda wants to get back to full guard. Takeda is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of France's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take France's back! Takeda lands an elbow to the side of the head. Takeda has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for France.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Takeda is punishing France with some ground and pound. Takeda lands a shot to the body. France wants to control his opponent's hands but Takeda gets his hands free. Takeda punches France on the ear. France is trying to remain composed but Takeda is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. France grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. France is trapped and Takeda is scoring with shots to the head and body. France covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Paris France. I think France has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
