Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares looks for a takedown but Dagger sprawls well.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Soares enables Dagger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Soares manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Soares takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dagger is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Soares locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Dagger is forced to tap!
