Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Relentless AD!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allen Brossard!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AD shoots in and drives through. Brossard sprawls well.
AD takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
AD keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brossard.
Nice uppercut there from Brossard.
AD closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brossard circles away.
AD will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Relentless AD. That's going to take a lot out of him.
AD shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brossard pinned against the cage. Brossard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
AD keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brossard.
AD gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Brossard counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brossard jabs AD right on the nose. AD blinks but takes it well.
Brossard slaps away a takedown attempt from AD, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brossard attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
AD tries to clinch there but Brossard circles away.

Brossard gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
AD tries to free his leg and advance position but Brossard is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
AD trying to control but Brossard is working from the bottom.
Brossard looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
AD with a flurry of punches that miss.
AD passes into half guard.
AD not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Brossard trying to hold on to AD's head to control him but AD postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

AD wants to work for an arm triangle but Brossard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brossard wants to get back to full guard.
AD works his foot free and advances to mount.
AD can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brossard is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brossard wants to hold on but AD pushes him away.
Brossard is looking to get to half guard.
Brossard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

AD swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
