The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rainier throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hartin.
Rainier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hartin tries to clinch up.

Hartin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rainier is fending him off so far but Hartin persists. Nope, Rainier circles away and we're back to standing.
Hartin shoots in and drives through. Rainier sprawls well.
Hartin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rainier tries to avoid it but Hartin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rainier to the ground. Rainier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Horrible takedown by Hartin or perhaps it was just good defense by Rainier which made him look bad.

and Rainier scores with a counter punch that sends Hartin to the canvas! Rainier smells blood - he's punishing Hartin with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hartin has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
