Nikolaev thuds his right hand into Shaddix's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nikolaev is bucking up trying to escape but Shaddix cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaddix has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nikolaev's face.
It looks like Andrei Nikolaev has been cut.
