This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Malelei is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Malelei wants to work for an arm triangle but Dusiciel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dusiciel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dusiciel.
Malelei wanted to stand there but Dusiciel had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dusiciel wants to sweep here but Malelei controlling him for the moment.
Dusiciel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Malelei's guard.
Malelei pulls Dusiciel in close to prevent any damage.

Malelei controls Dusiciel momentarily but Dusiciel frees himself.
Malelei wants to get back to his feet but Dusiciel passes into half guard.
Dusiciel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Malelei knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dusiciel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Abekula Malelei was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Abekula Malelei is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mario Dusiciel.
I think Malelei has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
