Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Brantley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Mlynarczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mlynarczyk has chosen Empire State of Mind as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrzej Mlynarczyk!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brantley misses with a few strikes there.
Lukas Brantley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mlynarczyk wants to clinch up but Brantley keeps it at a distance.

Brantley shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Brantley throws a solid leg kick but Mlynarczyk takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Brantley.
Mlynarczyk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mlynarczyk slips a jab and a cross from Brantley.
Brantley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mlynarczyk scores with a kick to the midsection.
Some bone on bone action there as Mlynarczyk checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Brantley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Brantley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mlynarczyk can pounce on him.

Brantley swats away the attempt to clinch by Mlynarczyk.
Mlynarczyk wants to clinch up but Brantley keeps it at a distance.
Brantley throws a lazy body kick

so Mlynarczyk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mlynarczyk won't allow Brantley to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mlynarczyk trying to control the position from guard on top but Brantley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brantley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brantley controls Mlynarczyk momentarily but Mlynarczyk frees himself.
Brantley keeping moving, preventing Mlynarczyk from controlling successfully.
Mlynarczyk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Brantley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mlynarczyk wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Brantley's closed guard. He's half up but Brantley has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Brantley pivots and extends the arm, Mlynarczyk falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Brantley! Well done that man!
