Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Aciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Fraser looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaime Aciano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Fraser! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fraser throws a right hand that misses
and Aciano counters with a takedown into side control. Fraser is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Aciano taking a breather here. Aciano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Aciano seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fraser for as long as he can get away with. Fraser is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Aciano is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Aciano working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fraser is letting Aciano control him for a moment. Fraser is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Aciano is controlling him well. Aciano is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fraser will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Aciano's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

and Aciano counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fraser is looking to stand up but Aciano isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aciano lands a couple of digs. Aciano sitting in guard here, content to control.
Jaime Aciano has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Fraser gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Aciano stands up from Fraser's guard - Aciano perhaps looking for a knockout. Fraser looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser misses with a hook
so Aciano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Aciano stands and throws Fraser's legs to the side, diving into side control. Aciano stands up and we're back to a striking position. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fraser crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aciano - the referee stops the clock and Fraser gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aciano. Fraser manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Aciano keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Aciano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fraser swats him away and circles back towards the center. Aciano fails with a takedown attempt. Aciano drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aciano stops Fraser from standing up. Aciano connects with a couple of short punches. Aciano stands up from Fraser's guard - Aciano perhaps looking for a knockout. Fraser swats away the attempt to clinch by Aciano. Fraser tries to keep at a distance but Aciano has taken the fight into the clinch. Aciano prevents a takedown attempt there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aciano can't find room to land a body shot as Fraser controls the action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaime Aciano dominated that round. That's time! Aciano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fraser jabs at Aciano's body. Aciano shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fraser defends it nicely. Fraser tries to keep at a distance but Aciano has taken the fight into the clinch. Aciano has had enough of the clinch but Fraser keeps him there for the moment. Fraser looking for a takedown. Fraser prevents a body shot from Aciano. Aciano has hold of one of Fraser's legs. Fraser is fighting the takedown attempt but Aciano gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Jaime Aciano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Aciano postures up in Fraser's guard and throws a big left but Fraser blocks it. Aciano distracts Fraser with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fraser really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aciano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Aciano prevents Fraser from getting back to his feet. Fraser is breathing heavily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aciano passes Fraser's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Aciano postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fraser to stand up. Horrible takedown by Aciano or perhaps it was just good defense by Fraser which made him look bad. Fraser takes a kick to the side of the head. Aciano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Aciano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fraser knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fraser tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser holding both Aciano 's hands and preventing any damage. Aciano sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Fraser taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jaime Aciano!
