Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Egan manages to avoid it.
Norton throws a head kick that misses.
Grizzly Egan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Egan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Norton counters with a series of strikes. Egan will be more careful next time no doubt.
Norton throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Egan throws a nice looking combination but Norton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Egan has control of Norton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Norton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Norton seems to have got his legs back now.
Norton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Egan on the ground.

Egan shoots in and gets a takedown into Norton's guard.
Egan is looking to work some ground and pound but Norton has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Egan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Egan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Egan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Egan throws a big right hand that misses.
Norton can't keep his opponent in guard - Egan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Egan lands a nice short elbow.

Egan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norton's head.
Grizzly Egan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Norton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Egan is trying to control. Norton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Egan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Norton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Egan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Norton defend it? Egan steps over the head and cranks it - Norton is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Egan!
