Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Serra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pauly Shore!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shore throws a sloppy head kick and Serra moves out of range easily.
Serra avoids the head kick by Shore.
Shore dodges the punch combination from Serra.
Serra changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shore looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Shore is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Serra is looking to take a break and control but Shore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Serra is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Shore is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Shore wants to improve his position but Serra is controlling well.
Shore is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Shore manages to get to full guard.
Shore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Serra wants to control from the top but Shore keeps moving.
Serra wants to get up but he can't break Shore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shore lands a brutal head kick. Serra looks out on his feet and Shore throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
