Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palhares moves into the clinch.
Palhares with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Palhares has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Arruda regains guard immediately.
Palhares trying to control but Arruda is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palhares wants to stand and escape but instead Arruda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Palhares changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Arruda looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
